Scheduled Task Colors


It is possible to customize the colors of Scheduled Tasks in the

  • View > Scheduling > Schedule
  • View > Scheduling > Employee Schedule, and 
  • View > Scheduling > Process Schedule pages.

Four settings are available.  Note that only an Administrator can alter these settings.



1. Highlighting by Task Status.


This is the default settings and displays
  • Yet to Start Tasks in white
  • Active Tasks in Green, and
  • On Hold Tasks in Orange.

See below as an example.

 




  

To use this setting, from the Main Management Menu go to Tools > Settings.  Select the Scheduling tab (see highlighted below) and ensure that Show Color In Schedule By - is set to Task Status (as displayed below).


  
 


2.  Highlighting by Job. 


This setting highlights a specific Job (or Jobs) in a color (or colors) of your choosing.


You can have multiple Jobs colored in different (or the same) colors.  There is no limit on the number of Jobs or colors that can be used.


As an example see below where all Tasks in Job 800556 are colored in blue.  


 


To use this setting, firstly tag one or more Jobs with an appropriate color (or colors) - for more information see Job Color Tags.


 Secondly from the Main Management Menu go to Tools > Settings.  Select the Scheduling tab (see highlighted below)
and ensure that Show Color In Schedule By - is set to Job (as displayed below)


 
  



3.  Highlighting by Process.


This setting highlights all Tasks for a specific Process (or Processes) in a color (or colors) of your choosing.


There is no limit on the number of Processes or colors that can be used.

As an example see below where Tasks with a Process called Powdercoat are highlighted in a purple color.  

  




To use this setting, firstly tag the Process (or Processes) with an appropriate color (or colors) - for more information see Process Color Tags.

Secondly from the Main Management Menu go to Tools > Settings.  Select the Scheduling tab (see highlighted below) 
and ensure that Show Color In Schedule By - is set to Process (as highlighted below).


    
4.  Highlighting by Job Line.


This setting highlights all Tasks for a specific Job Line in a color of your choosing.


There is no limit on the number of colors that can be used.

As an example see below where Tasks for the Melamine Kitchen for Job 73336 are highlighted in a pinkish red color.  
 
 


To use this setting, firstly, from the Main Management Menu go to Tools > Settings.  Select the Scheduling tab (see highlighted below) and ensure that Show Color In Schedule By - is set to Job Line (as highlighted below).

 

This will add an additional column in the Job > New Job and the Job > Edit Job pages (see highlighted below) that can have a color per Job Line.
